Are you considering moving to The Claydons, or Verney Junction, new to the area or even lived here a while and are looking to learn something new, make friends and have fun in a safe environment?
There is so much more to The Claydons W.I. than jam and Jerusalem and ours is one of the longer running W.I’s formed over 90 years ago.
Meeting at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month, except August, in the Village Hall, we enjoy talks and demonstrations from visiting speakers on a wide range of subjects, have parties and go on walks and outings. There is a Book Club and a Craft group, in fact there really is something for everyone.
With an enthusiastic fun loving and varied age membership, it’s easy to meet new people. Why not come and join us at one of our meetings to find out what we are about and see if it can fit you?

Note from a member:- I moved to the village eighteen months ago and was very apprehensive of joining the local W.I. From my first meeting, I was made to feel welcome and over time have made friends, met some amazing women, learnt new experiences and there’s still more things I hope to get involved in, Who knows one day I may even learn how to make jam?
Now not only do I live in the village, but thanks to the W.I. I feel part of The Claydons.
