On Friday 3rd March, Greg Smith MP led the House of Commons Adjournment debate on the impact major infrastructure projects like HS2 and East West Rail have had on communities – citing examples from across the constituency of where residents and businesses have been failed by HS2 Ltd, their contractors and East West Rail. It is imperative that construction practices are flipped in favour of people and not the convenience of contractors.
